Behind the innocent facade lay a dark, all-consuming abyss. From brute ("The Belgian Inferno") to colossal ("While We Lose Ourselves"), the four-piece from Hanover unfolded a breathtaking range on their debut album. "This is just the beginning!" The words of Unzucht singer Der Schulz were both a threat and a promise. And they were to prove true. Today, fans of dark rock as well as industrial and gothic fans can't get past Unzucht. "Engel der Vernichtung", "Deine Zeit läuft ab" and of course "Unzucht" - the songs of "Todsünde 8" have long since achieved anthem status. The sixth Unzucht release "Jenseits der Welt" entered the top 10 of the German album charts in 2020. Now it's time to celebrate "Todsünde 8" as what it was on the day of its release: a dark stroke of genius, beautiful like a swan - but a black one. On 13.10.2023 "Todsünde 8" will be re-released by NoCut Entertainment. Remastered, with a black cover and for the first time on vinyl. "Unzucht were our first external signed artists in 2012," says label boss Kalle Engler. "I was and still am lewdly in love with them." Guitarist De Clercq adds: "Even more than 10 years after its release, Deadly Sin 8 is still devastating. Remastered pushes you to the edge of the abyss and jumps off with you! Beware, the swan returns - in black!
