Accept - Too Mean To Die (CD)
Release Date: 29.01.2021
Special circumstances often lead to very special albums. This certainly applies to "Too Mean To Die", which of course also alludes to the Corona era, albeit in a different way than perhaps initially suspected. The title track is a typical Accept hit: driving, hard-hitting, full on the twelve!
Zombie Apocalypse' is in the same vein, also uncompromising and hard, in the band's typical style. Different is the first single, which will be released as a pre-release - together with the matching, very watchable video - on 2 October 2020. Title: 'The Undertaker'. A terrific midtempo number with great choruses and built-in sing-along character that will make fans and band take off united live. Not only according to Wolf Hoffmann one of the catchiest, most pleasing pieces of the album. Just how varied the ACCEPT guitar army is on the new album is proven by one of the secret highlights: 'The Best Is Yet To Come'. A beguiling ballad in which Mark Tornillo is at his best. The metal world knows that Mark can scream like no other, but here it shows once again that the frontman can also sing magnificently.
